NEW ARRIVALWith USA made Epiphones reaching high prices, the Japanese made examples are becoming very desirable. This 1983 Casino, with the pre ’85 Gibson, Kalamazoo label, is a forerunner to the Elite series, and has the look and feel of a Custom Shop guitar. The late 70’s and early 80’s Matsumoku factory guitars are held in high regard, for feel, finish quality and overall attention to detail. This example, in the classic Wine Red finish is a beauty. It had upgraded Seymore Duncan Antiquity P90’s which deliver very accurate vintage tone. It’s a finely crafted, great-sounding, and easy-playing instrument that beautifully blurs the line between Epiphone and Gibson. This particular example is in very good condition with the kind of playwear you’d expect from a 36 year old guitar that’s been played and loved. The guitar is well balanced, the neck feels comfortable, with easy playing action, and tonally it's everything you'd hope for in such an iconic guitar. It comes in it’s original hard case.
